At any rate............
These are what I use:
1. Pure Honey
2. Nature Republic Charcoal Peel-Off Pack
3. Missha Rosewater Jelly/ Moisturizing Cream
Before I use these three, I rinse my face first with hot water. I don't really use pore cleansers but when I use it, I make sure it's natural. I get rid of chemical pore cleansers because it did my face no good. I have researched about natural pore cleansers and it seems that oatmeal is a very good cleanser. Just cook it, make sure it's softened then you crack an egg, throw away the yolk and mix the white with the cooked oatmeal. Then, voila! But do not expect that it will immediately solve your skin problems because natural facial solutions will really take time to improve your skin. But what makes it better than chemical face solutions is that it makes the skin less prone to pimples and the skin will absorb its natural nutrients.
In my opinion, even without these three as long as you have hot water, your skin will remain good. The hot water opens up your pores and helps in removing those dirty particles that seeped though it.
So, first, after washing the face with hot water, apply the Charcoal Mask.
I choose Charcoal Masks based on reviews, of course. So far, Nature Republic has a very good review on most people so I use it. I usually put it inside the fridge as to maintain its quality and the mask itself won't separate to the charcoal. Another thing is that, this pack isn't that expensive. It costs Php 370.00.
I use this first because charcoal masks has this magnet thingy that pulls out particles that the hot water wasn't able to remove. This is very helpful in removing blackheads, but make sure that the blackheads are softened enough with the help of hot water so that when this mask is removed, your nose will turn out smoother.
Be careful when applying the mask. Avoid the areas near the eye and the upper lip because when you peel out the mask and you put some near those said parts, it will be painful. Trust me.
It's kinda messy when applying this so better have a tissue with you or better apply it with a brush so it could be evened out on the face.
After the mask is peeled, it is best to apply the honey next. Put only a half teaspoon or even two drops of honey on your palm and warm it up. Or you can also warm it up by pouring a very small amount on a small basin and put a hot water underneath it using a basin too, but a smaller one. I hope you get what I'm trying to say. XD
Make sure that your face is clear of hair because once the honey is applied and your hair is a mess, it gets really sticky and irritating.
Let the honey stay on your face for 15-30 minutes or longer, because it's kinda viscous and it will take time for the pores to absorb the nutrients of the honey.
According to reviews and research, honey is suitable for all skin types and it keeps the skin smooth and soft.
When you feel like rinsing your face already, just wash your face with cold water. It easily goes off your skin.
The cold water has the opposite purpose. It closes the pores of the skin.
This is optional to use. This would be best if you're rushing for work or school. Rinse your face first with hot water then pat your face dry. Apply the moisturizing cream then let it stay for a few minutes. Wash the face with cold water after.
I got this moisturizing cream as a freebie so I don't know how much it truly costs. I also put this inside the fridge as to maintain its quality, and it will be cooler when applied to the skin. Put only an ample amount on each side of the face.
That's it for now!
I feel sleepy........again.
MY ♥ IS TOO STUFFED UP.
