Making my own Avocado Smoothie

My dad came home with large and ripe avocados so I thought fast of what to to do with these soon to rot babies!

I forgot which website I got this very simple recipe but thanks to Google! The only twist I did was I did not measure the ingredients. I only trusted my instincts which I do most of the time when it comes to cooking.

What you're gonna need are the following:

The avocados of course...

yogurt. I used 2 cups of yogurt but you can add more because it tastes light actually.

And I forgot to add a picture of honey. But you already know how it looks so...XD But beware of some honey! Some are fake and some are adulterated or added with water! I use raw honey which was bought from the province. It's fresh from the mountains. The bees there are not cultured according to the trusted neighbors.

Now let's start making the smoothie!

Spoon the avocados out and put it in a container. Put the container in the fridge and wait for 3-4 hours, or more depending on how fast your freezer....freezes(?!) food.

When the avocados are already frozen, put it on a blender along with the yogurt. Since we don't have a smoothie maker, I used blender instead. But I suggest a smoothie maker since the recipe does not require water. The blender struggled breaking the avocados into smooth texture but it still did the job.

AAAAAND...VOILA!

The avocado smoothie is done!! Just add some honey and mix it with a spoon. It tastes a bit bitter and a bit sour because of the yogurt so I recommend some sweetener. I used honey for a more healthy and smooth option but you can also use sugar or stevia.

So that's the simple recipe! Enjoy!
